The CSUN Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing works to create a healthier environment on campus and in our surrounding communities. We provide students, staff, and the greater community with education, tools and resources that improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, helping them be resilient and successful so they can become the best versions of themselves. We change lives through our work such as our Bridge to the Future Scholars Program, which supports high school graduates in Canoga Park with a tuition-free CSUN education.

Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing
Gifts to the Institute for Community Health and Wellbeing fund student-led exercise programs and mindfulness activities such as meditation and stress reduction, as well as food distribution drives, community cleanups, and other programs that improve people’s bodies, minds and environments
Lactation Spaces
Promote family-friendly environments by supporting lactation spaces for breastfeeding students and staff on campus. By giving to University Special Projects, your donation will support Lactation Spaces.
CSUN offers 6 lactation spaces. The oldest space in Santa Susana Hall (set up in 2015) was used a total of 706 times in 2019 and continues to be the busiest location. You can support updates and maintenance to these spaces by giving to the University Special Projects funds, which will help refurbish CSUN’s lactation areas with new paint, new furniture and equipment to ensure a clean and safe space for students, faculty and staff.
Bridge to the Future Scholars (B2F) Program
A community-college-workforce pipeline, the B2F Program is on its 6th cohort. The Program provides a tuition-free CSUN education for about 25 students from Canoga Park each year. These students are from traditionally underserved communities, and many are the first in their families to attend college. Over 85% of the students are Latinx. Your support will help fund the mentoring, volunteer service activities, and internship opportunities for the scholars.
