Donate to the Tom and Ethel Bradley Center and help support Ma Ngombe Warriors of San Basilio de Palenque, a graphic novel about a community of free Black slaves in the Americas. We need your help to develop this graphic novel based on Richard Cross’s photographs of the first community of free Black enslaved people near Cartegena, Colombia. The graphic novel will serve as a tribute to the people of Palenque and make accessible the work of photographer Richard Cross and anthropologist Nina S. de Friedemann.
