Archery - CSUN Archery was founded in 2009 and has had members compete at state and national collegiate tournaments. Our purpose is to promote the sport of archery to fellow students and compete at the collegiate level.
Badminton - The CSUN Badminton team focuses on building character as well as lifelong relationships with teammates. The club encourages all, regardless of experience, to come out and learn about the competitive sport of badminton.
Baseball - Men’s Baseball Club was started in 2012. We are entering our 10th season as a club and are members of the National Collegiate Baseball Association – Division 2. This team is for those student athletes who want to keep pursuing their passion for competitive baseball while completing their degrees.
Boxing - The CSUN Boxing Club began in 2007 and is a member of the National Collegiate Boxing Association (NCBA). Our goal is to expose the CSUN community to the sport of boxing and to compete against other universities.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club was started in 2011. We strive to promote an active lifestyle, discipline, self-defense and new friendships through the “gentle art” known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Cheer - CSUN Cheerleading is a Division 1 co-ed team that works closely with the university to promote school spirit. Our goals are to compete at the national level, promote school spirit, and encourage others to succeed and strive for excellence in the classroom, on cheer mats and in their futures.
Chess - The CSUN Chess Club was officially recognized in 2022 and competes at both the regional and national levels.
Dance - The Dance Team’s goal is to provide entertainment and spread school spirit during men’s and women’s basketball games, pep rallies, and school events. The team focuses on hip hop and jazz routines obtained from the Pro Action Dance camp that includes professional dance teams from around the country performing their choreography.
Esports - The CSUN Esports Club serves as the central gaming community on campus and aspire to continue expanding CSUN’s collegiate esports presence. The CSUN Esports Club also provides a casual and friendly community where we all come together and share our love for gaming.
Fasmode - The CSUN’s Fasmode dance crew has been proudly representing Northridge since 2002. Fasmode is an urban hip hop dance crew that shares a common passion for dance and performance. Now completing its 20th year, Fasmode continues to innovate new ideas, build leadership, create lifelong friendships, and entertain audiences.
Hip Hop - CSUN Hip-Hop Dance Club incorporates many styles of dance into their original and innovative hip-hop choreography and has become a recognizable club on and off campus. CSUN Hip-Hop Dance is comprised of a diverse group of incredibly talented individuals who all share a passion for dance.
Ice Hockey - The CSUN Ice Hockey Club was founded in 1971 and was a member of the first collegiate hockey club league in the nation - the Pacific Collegiate Hockey Association. We strive to compete for the American Collegiate Hockey Association D2 (ACHA) national championship and expose the CSUN community to collegiate ice hockey.
Men’s Basketball - CSUN’s Men’s Basketball Club was brought back to campus in 2012. The club has been actively competing in state and national tournaments ever since. The team focuses on the development of skills and knowledge of the game of basketball in an exciting and competitive manner, exposing the CSUN community to competitive basketball.
Men’s Soccer - The CSUN Men’s Soccer Club was founded in 2007, and participation has increased ever since. The club is determined to provide CSUN students with an opportunity to become better teammates, develop athletic skills and enhance individual growth through soccer.
Men’s Volleyball - The CSUN Men’s Volleyball Club was formed in 2017 and in its first season, the team finished 1st in their division. The club team now competes in the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League - Division 1. The club fosters the development of sportsmanship, respect, leadership, teamwork, discipline and athletic ability.
Salsa Libre - Salsa Libre is CSUN's exclusive Salsa-based dance team. Since its formation in 2010, Salsa Libre has given the spotlight to numerous dancers who have and continue to gain a reputable status in the dance community through hard work, commitment and passion.
Table Tennis - The CSUN Table Tennis team welcomes any student who is excited to learn the game of table tennis and compete in the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA). Over the course of the year, players will improve through weekly practice and annual tournaments to showcase their skills.
Tennis Club - CSUN Club Tennis was established in 2007 and has competed in United States Tennis Association (USTA) on-campus tournaments. We have successfully bridged the gap between casual and competitive advanced players. Our goal is to develop a cohesive unit of tennis players and achieve the best possible results at competitive tournaments around Southern California, while building character and lifelong friendships with teammates.
Water Polo - The CSUN Water Polo Club was founded in 2011. The team strives to expose the CSUN community to collegiate water polo and compete in the Pacific Coast Division and Southwest Division. The team also focuses on having its participants develop respect, sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, discipline, integrity, and top athletic ability.
Weightlifting - The CSUN Weightlifting club is determined to create an environment for new and experienced weightlifters to learn the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and develop relationships and a community within CSUN.
Women’s Lacrosse - CSUN Women’s Lacrosse Club started in 2014 in the Western Women's Lacrosse League (WWLL) as a provisional team and now competes in Division 2 and continues to grow. The club fosters the development of sportsmanship, respect, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and athletic ability in all of its members, while encouraging student success.
Women’s Rugby - The CSUN Women’s Rugby team was officially recognized as a club in 2011. From starting and competing at the Division 2 level to making playoff runs at the Division 1 level, our goal is and always will be to empower women with the skills, discipline, and teamwork developed by playing the sport of rugby. We encourage all, regardless of experience, to come out and play.
Women’s Soccer - The Women’s Soccer Club started in 2008 and has continued with a group of outstanding athletes and energetic new members every season. The club fosters the development of sportsmanship, respect, leadership, teamwork, discipline, and athletic ability in all of its members, while encouraging student success.
Women’s Volleyball - The CSUN Women’s Volleyball Club was established in 2013 and continues to give student athletes an opportunity to play and compete on a collegiate level. The club competes in the Southern California Collegiate Volleyball League (SCCVL) against women’s volleyball club teams from other universities.
