Your gift to the Associated Students (AS) Programs fund will support various programs, including:
Children Center
Since 1973, the A.S. CSUN Children's Center has been serving children and families from CSUN and the surrounding community. The AS Children’s Center is a high-quality early childhood education program that provides a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children.
Camp Matador
Camp Matador welcomes all incoming Matadors to a four-day, three-night inclusive experience prior to starting their first semester at CSUN. Camp Matador’s goal is to build friendships, develop identities, and embody the Matador spirit. Camp Matador fosters personal growth by encouraging students to challenge themselves as they embark on their CSUN journey.
Sustainability
AS Sustainability hires a student team that is dedicated to providing CSUN students access to events, information, and strategies on how to live a more sustainable life. The Sustainability team does this by hosting events such as Earth Fair, Repair Clinic, America Recycles Day: Race to Zero Waste, Matador Exchange, Trash Talkers, beach cleanup, the Sustainable Fashion Expo, and other educational events.
Productions
AS Productions’ main goal is to bring the Matador spirit to life! Productions aims to bring quality events exclusively to CSUN students and the surrounding community by providing students access to homegrown events such as concerts, cultural events, farmers markets, lectures, comedy shows, and more. Events include: Big Show, AS Farmers Market, Summer Movie Fest, Big Lecture, and Big Comedy.
