Associated Students Sport Clubs

Mission: We provide students an opportunity to participate in sports and recreational activities, and compete against colleges and universities from across the state and country as individuals and as members of teams. Each sport club is student-run, and strives to develop students' leadership and athletic skills. 

Vision: Developing champions in sports and life. 

Donor support: Donations made during Giving Day to any of the AS Sport Clubs will provide funding to teams to cover expenses such as competition fees, uniforms and equipment costs. Your gift helps ensure that our Matadors’ student experiences are enriched through extracurricular activities, team building opportunities and enhanced engagement across campus.

The President Erika D. Beck Brighter Future Challenge
CSUN President Erika D. Beck will celebrate the top 3 participating student clubs and organizations who raise the highest number of unique donors on Giving Day with bonus awards. First place will receive $2,500, second place will receive $1,500 and third place will receive $1,000.

AS Sport Club Gear Challenge
The first AS Sport Club who reaches $500 in donations on Giving Day will receive an additional $500 worth of equipment and/or gear for their club members.

United States Military Branch Donor Challenge
Generous CSUN Alumni, Robert and Gloria Meyerson, will donate an additional $5,000 to the Veteran's Resource Center in honor of the branch of the U.S. military with the highest number of donors during Giving Day.
