Support the College of Science and Mathematics

At the CSUN College of Science and Mathematics, discovery is at the heart of everything we do. Our five dynamic departments—Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geology, Physics and Astronomy, and Mathematics—work together to uncover the mysteries of the natural world and apply that knowledge to real-world challenges. Whether it’s exploring the microscopic workings of life, analyzing the building blocks of matter, studying Earth’s systems, unlocking the secrets of the universe, or finding mathematical solutions to complex problems, our faculty and students are pushing boundaries and advancing knowledge that matters.

Science impacts every part of our daily lives—from the air we breathe and the water we drink to the technology we rely on and the innovations that sustain our communities. In today’s world, facing global health crises, climate change, and rapid technological transformation, supporting research and education in science is more vital than ever. At CSUN, our students are not only learning cutting-edge science—they’re conducting hands-on research that shapes the future and drives progress locally and globally.

When you support the College of Science and Mathematics, you’re investing in the next generation of scientists, educators, and innovators who will make a difference in our world. Your gift empowers students to pursue meaningful research, fosters innovation in our community, and helps us all move toward a more sustainable and informed future. Join us today—because the discoveries we support now will build a better world tomorrow.
