Support Student Scholarships

About two-thirds of CSUN’s undergraduate students are first-generation college students and more than half are Pell Grant recipients, which means they come from families whose annual income is at or near the federal poverty line of $20,000 for a family of four.

Even those who qualify for need-based financial aid may not have their needs met due to changes in eligibility. In order for CSUN to remain affordable and accessible for every qualified student, it relies on scholarships. Scholarships are essential to helping close the gap between the aid students need and what they receive.

Scholarships also ensure that students from any background have the opportunity to pursue higher education. The financial relief of a scholarship allows students to fully focus on their studies and to participate in the variety of programming and activities that enrich their education.

Your support of student scholarships not only enables a student's future, but is also an endorsement of their potential for success.
