MEP Alumni Scholarship

The Minority Engineering Program (MEP) was founded at CSUN in the 1970s. The program helped create intentional outreach and open doors for students from underrepresented communities to study STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) at CSUN. Many alumni who were a part of MEP were also a part of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).

Donations to the MEP Alumni Scholarship Endowment support scholarships with preference for those students who are active members of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) or the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at the University.
