CSUN Filipino American Student Association (FASA): California State University Northridge's Filipino American Student Association (CSUN FASA), is a non-profit, student-led organization. Our goals are to spread awareness and knowledge of the Filipino culture, encourage student leadership, as well as maintaining an active involvement within our local community. This year, FASA will be celebrating its 41st annual Pilipino Cultural Night (PCN) where members of our organization have graced the stage with dance and music from the Filipino culture accompanied by a student-written script. In our annual event of PCN, we will be dedicating our performances to the history of our generation, past leaders of our club, our families, and supporters of FASA. With your support, you can help us by funding our venue, music/instrumentalists, costumes, programs, workshops, dance props, and stage props! We would like to thank you in advance for your support and kindness, and we hope to see you in our show!

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE): SHPE CSUN is a part of a nationally recognized professional society that provides an environment which fosters familia, academia, and professionalism. Through the help of a strong social network, diverse interdisciplinary membership, and industry leading alumni support, our members are empowered to achieve greatness through all facets of their lives. Funding would help us continue to host workshops and networking events that uplift students academically, and professionally. These events and resources have allowed our members’ confidence to grow in themselves as professionals. Donors should give because their support helps students access networking, skill building, confidence enhancing workshops and events that can stay with them as they apply for internships, jobs, scholarships, and life.

CSUN Matador Speech and Debate Team: The CSUN Speech and Debate Team is a nationally recognized forensics team that competes all across the United States. We teach transferrable, critical skills in communication, persuasion, and critical thinking, through argumentation and performance. Furthermore, we focus on building a tight-knit community among continuing and new Matadors, both first-time and transfer students. We provide students with ways to utilize their voices and advocate for social justice changes in a world that continues to oppress certain groups of people. Your donations will help us advertise to students and allow us to travel further, continuing to advocate for change.

Environmental and Occupational Health Student Association: EOHSA is an inclusive student organization open to all majors who are interested in environmental health and occupational health and safety. Our club focuses on building meaningful connections between students and professionals in the EOH field through networking events, facility tours, and guest speakers. Funding supports these professional development opportunities, as well as social events that strengthen our sense of community and ensure member engagement. Donations can also help us celebrate and support our graduating members by providing graduation cords and sashes that recognize their achievements. Supporting EOHSA helps CSUN students gain real-world exposure, career readiness, and a strong professional network that extends beyond the classroom.

In The Loop Knitting and Crochet Club: In The Loop is a knitting and crochet club on campus that unites the crafty students at CSUN. We support our members in expanding their small businesses and gaining exposure by tabling with us at events, giving them customer service experience and audience engagement experience. We often give back to the community as well such as our recent project in donating handmade beanies to kids with cancer. While teaching each other tips and tricks in crochet, we provide our members with free materials to help them with their crochet/knitting journey. Funding would help support us in being able to constantly provide free materials for our members and afford field trips/workshops to take our members to, such as the crochet fiber arts fair, where our members learn the different types of fiber arts and crafts, and can compete by showing their handmade pieces. The workshops would help our members learn multiple aspects of fiber arts and would also help us in being able to teach the skills and pass them on to future generations to come.

Society of Automotive Engineers (Formula SAE): At CSUN Formula SAE, students don’t just study engineering, we build it. Our team of 30 mechanical engineering students design and manufacture a fully functional formula-style race car each year, applying advanced engineering principles to a real-world system. Competing at the national Formula SAE Michigan event, students gain hands-on experience, industry exposure, and career-defining opportunities.
