Women in Science and Engineering
Empowering the Next Generation of Women in STEM

As Matadors, we know that education has the power to change lives and that CSUN’s strength lies in its people: bold thinkers, innovators, and trailblazers who open doors for those who follow.

Professor Emerita Bonita J. Campbell turned that belief into action when she established the Bonita J. Campbell Endowment for Women in Science and Engineering (WISE). Her vision was clear: to ensure that women have equal opportunity to study, lead, and thrive in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Today, the WISE Endowment carries forward that mission — empowering women to build rewarding careers, celebrating the pioneers who came before, and inspiring the next generation to push the boundaries of what’s possible. WISE welcomes and supports all who share its commitment to advancing women in STEM, regardless of sex or gender.

When you give to WISE, you help CSUN continue its proud legacy of opening doors, ensuring that the next generation of women in STEM have the resources, mentorship, and confidence to lead with courage and creativity.
