Under the leadership of Head Coach Jodie Cox, CSUN Softball continues to build momentum and raise the standard of excellence. In 2025, the Matadors finished near the top of the Big West standings, demonstrating strong team chemistry, competitive drive, and standout performances—including a dominant 12–1 win over UC Davis. The team also secured key series victories and consistently competed with discipline and resilience throughout the season.
Coach Cox has brought a renewed energy to the program, guiding a pitching staff that recorded 180 strikeouts and leading the team to a 15–9 conference record. With a focus on development, performance, and team culture, the future of CSUN Softball is bright.
