Women's Tennis

CSUN Women’s Tennis continues to elevate the standard of excellence within the program. The 2025 season featured several standout achievements, Angela Ho and Nicole West reached the FINALS of the ITA Southwest regionals, beating 3 top 30 teams in the nation, qualifying them for Sectionals at the U of Washington.   Women’s tennis has been ranked in the top 75 in the nation in 3 of the past 4 years, placing it in the top 25% of the over 300 division one teams.  The Matadors had back to back second place finishes in the big west in 2023 and 2024.

The team also opened the spring season with a dominant 7–0 sweep of Caltech and competed in multiple high-level tournaments throughout the fall and spring, including the Big West Individuals. Across both singles and doubles play, the Matadors demonstrated growth, resilience, and a strong competitive spirit that reflects the program’s upward trajectory.
