Did you know? Within California alone, over 300,000 undergraduate students are also parenting students – students balancing the demands of raising their children, work and other life responsibilities as they pursue their higher educational goals.
Your contribution to the CSUN Student Parent Fund provides our parenting students here on campus with direct support, programs and resources that help create supportive, parenting-friendly campus culture. This includes the virtual Parent Scholars Resource Center (PSRC), where staff and student employees connect parent scholars with essential campus resources to boost enrollment, retention, and success. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, networking opportunities and special events programed specifically for parenting scholars (and their kiddos!), our goal is to ensure that our CSUN parenting students thrive academically and personally.
Your donation directly supports our students’ ability to persist at CSUN while raising their families, helping them break cycles of hardship and build brighter futures.
