The Black Alumni Association is committed to uplifting and empowering Black and African American Matadors by fostering community, celebrating excellence, and expanding opportunities for students and alumni. Your Giving Day support helps deepen connections, highlight achievements, and strengthen the legacy of Black excellence at CSUN.

Our Goals and Objectives
With your partnership, the Black Alumni Association works to:

  • Create meaningful opportunities for Black and African American alumni to connect and engage with the university and one another
  • Honor and showcase the accomplishments of our Black alumni across diverse fields and professions
  • Strengthen and enhance the chapter, supporting its alumni, faculty of African descent, and students through resources, programs, and community-building initiatives
  • Elevate the visibility and perception of Africana Studies as a discipline, while highlighting the achievements of students of African descent at California State University, Northridge
