Our Goals and Objectives
With your partnership, the La Raza Alumni Association aims to:
- • Develop and sustain meaningful engagement among alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members
- Strengthen cultural tradition, affiliation, and pride, fostering a supportive and connected network
- Enhance opportunities for collaboration and mentorship, supporting academic, personal, and professional growth within the Chicano/Latina/o community
- Advance the broader goals and mission of California State University, Northridge through programs that promote success and belonging
Our Purpose
The La Raza Alumni Association exists to:
- Offer graduates and former students opportunities to connect, build community, and promote shared educational and cultural interests
- Support and advance the welfare and success of Chicano/Latina/o students at CSUN, through programs, activities, and initiatives determined by the Association’s officers and Executive Board
Your Giving Day contribution directly supports scholarships, mentorship, cultural programs, and community-building efforts that uplift generations of Chicano/a Latina/o Matadors.
