Office of Undergraduate Research

The Office of Undergraduate Research strives to increase awareness, interest, and participation in research and creative scholarly activities by providing accessible resources, mentorship, and research opportunities to undergraduate students.

One of our cornerstone programs is PODER, CSUN’s first-ever paid research employment program open to all majors. In PODER, students get hands-on experience working in faculty-mentored research or creative scholarship during the academic year and get paid for it!  They gain skills needed to succeed in graduate studies and jobs in their fields of study. Your support will increase the number of paid positions so more undergraduate students experience this transformational high-impact practice.
