The EOP Milt and Debbie Valera Resilient Scholars Program is dedicated to supporting former foster youth by providing essential services that help eliminate personal and academic barriers, foster a sense of belonging, and build a strong community of support.
With a mission to empower former foster youth through higher education, the program is committed to ensuring their success as they transition out of the foster care system. Upon graduation, students will have gained the educational and interpersonal skills needed to become engaged citizens, leading productive and fulfilling lives.
