Latinx/a/o Social Justice Scholarship Endowment

The Latinx/a/o Social Justice Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships to enrolled students who actively seek to enhance social justice within the Latinx/a/o community on campus and in the broader society.

African American Social Justice Scholarship Endowment

The African American Social Justice Scholarship Endowment will provide scholarships to enrolled students who actively seek to enhance social justice within the African American community on campus and in the broader society.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Social Justice Scholarship Endowment

The Asian American and Pacific Islander Social Justice Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships to enrolled students who actively seek to enhance social justice within the Asian American and Pacific Islander community on campus and in the broader society.

American Indian Social Justice Scholarship Endowment 

The American Indian Social Justice Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships to enrolled students who actively seek to enhance social justice within the American Indian community on campus and in the broader society. 

*For the purposes of all of the Social Justice Scholarship awards, social justice is defined as the fair treatment of all people in a society/community, including respect for the rights of minoritized communities and equitable distribution of resources.

Your financial contribution to these scholarships will help Matador students make an impact on their community.

USU Debra L. Hammond Servant Leadership Scholarship Endowment

The USU Debra L. Hammond Servant Leadership Scholarship Endowment will provide scholarships to enrolled students who demonstrate servant leadership on campus and in the broader society in alignment with the USU mission statement and values.

For purposes of this award, servant leadership is defined by the principles of humility, listening, empathy, self-awareness, community building and stewardship where the leader serves the team. A servant leader is an individual whose leadership style prioritizes serving the greater good and the community.
