Engineering Senior Design Project Showcase

The Senior Design Project Showcase is a half-day event for engineering and computer science students to display their capstone projects and compete for prizes in front of a panel of distinguished judges from industry. The showcase allows students to demonstrate mastery of their disciplines, apply practical solutions to real-world problems, and successfully communicate their ideas and solutions. Often, students take their projects to national and international competitions.

Capstone projects include:

  • American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Concrete Canoe
  • ASCE Seismic Design Project
  • ASCE Timber Strong Senior Project
  • ASCE Steel Bridge Student Project
  • Human Powered Vehicle Senior Project
  • International Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Aero Senior Design Project
  • Solar and Wind Energy Engineering Team
  • Formula Society of Automotive Engineers
  • Computer Science Student Projects
  • Autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Senior Design Project

Funding for this high-profile, signature event helps defray event costs, including prize money awarded, student travel to national competitions and materials used for projects. Your support allows students to take what they learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world solutions.
