Secondary Education

Donations to Department of Secondary Education will provide funding to support programs like the Outstanding Student Teacher & Intern Reception (the "OSTIs"). This end-of-year reception recognizes approximately 30 student teachers and interns nominated by their mentors for their outstanding work in their middle- or high-school classrooms. 

California schools urgently need new teachers, and today's K-12 classrooms require those teachers to be skillful, dedicated and compassionate. Your Giving Day donations will help us honor and encourage these special new teachers who have demonstrated those critical qualities.
