Endowed Professorship in Africana Studies

The purpose of the Community Endowed Professorship of Africana Studies (CEPAS) is to attract outstanding faculty who are dedicated to communities of African descent and who demonstrate a commitment to actively engaging local and global communities. Distinct from other endowed professorships, the professor will be selected for their ability to inspire through teaching, connectivity with communities, and through research productivity.

The Community Endowed Professorship in Africana Studies is both a vision and an investment in the future and we invite you to partner with us to raise funds.
