The Math Department Mentoring Program aims to increase the number of CSUN's students entering careers in the Mathematical Sciences. Many students possess mathematical talent and, with the right support—academic guidance, empathetic encouragement and financial assistance—can become excellent mathematicians. Each year, we identify such students and, with adequate resources, guide them through their undergraduate studies to prepare for successful transitions into top Ph.D. and MS programs.
The Mathematics Mentoring Fund provides stipends for students and faculty to work together on cutting-edge research and develop the skills needed for diverse career paths, including advanced research, industrial problem solving, and teaching. Through mentorship, students gain the quantitative tools to thrive in a knowledge-driven world. Your support ensures their success.
