Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) program at California State University Northridge (CSUN) is part of a state and national effort to help students succeed. The program is a joint project between the National Science Foundation and the California State University system. LSAMP’s goal is to increase participation in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) especially for those underrepresented in these majors. At LSAMP we support participating students with majors in science (such as biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geology), or technology majors (including engineering, math, & computer science) to attain baccalaureate degrees, and to complete graduate school.
