Student Clubs and Greek Life

CSUN's student clubs and Greek life offer Matadors opportunities to deeply connect with the campus community, in turn helping them form meaningful relationships with other CSUN students, faculty, staff and alumni, and assisting their development of professional interests and skills.

Revolutionary Scholars is dedicated to transforming the lives of formerly incarcerated and system-impacted individuals by creating a pathway into higher education. We focus on building a prison-to-school pipeline through strategic recruitment, retention, and advocacy efforts. Funding will support our mission to challenge societal stigmas and provide essential academic and co-curricular support, helping students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. By bridging theoretical discourse with lived experiences, we aim to shift the narrative from incarceration to education, making a significant impact on the CSUN community and beyond. Donors' contributions will empower us to continue this vital work and foster a more inclusive and equitable society.

The Financial Management Association (FMA) at CSUN empowers students with the tools and knowledge needed to excel in finance-related careers. Our organization provides networking opportunities, professional workshops, and industry insights through guest speakers and corporate visits. Funding would support student participation in regional and national conferences, expand access to educational resources, and facilitate community engagement initiatives. By investing in FMA, donors contribute to the development of future financial leaders and enhance CSUN's reputation as a hub for career-ready graduates. Your support helps bridge the gap between education and the professional world, fostering growth and success for our diverse student body.

Formula SAE is a collegiate design series created to prepare students for future employment as engineers. Students act as an engineering company designing, fabricating, testing, and competing a prototype vehicle. This in-depth and hands-on educational program develops the knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving abilities of engineering students by enabling them to draw upon their years of education to answer a complex, real-world design and manufacturing challenge. We attract the most hardworking, motivated, and results-oriented engineering students produced by CSUN. This is all thanks to donations from people like you, that we are able to build our car every year.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a transformative organization committed to empowering Black students, who have limited resources, with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in the engineering field. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. Through strategic partnerships with leading companies, NSBE fosters an environment of professional growth by hosting impactful initiatives, including informational sessions, skill-building workshops, and mock interviews. Our hallmark events, two annual conventions, provide unparalleled opportunities for our members to access financial and academic support, secure internships, and even land full-time positions with top organizations. Your support and contributions enable NSBE to expand its reach, empowering more Black engineering students on campus and beyond to break barriers, realize their potential, and shape a more inclusive future in STEM. Together, we can make a profound difference.

Our mission is to promote awareness of Deaf culture by engaging with the campus community and supporting Deaf organizations both locally and beyond. We are committed to developing strong leaders while making a meaningful impact through outreach and service. Funding would help us provide materials, workshops, interpreting services, and resources to expand member engagement and broaden our contributions to the community.
