Revolutionary Scholars is dedicated to transforming the lives of formerly incarcerated and system-impacted individuals by creating a pathway into higher education. We focus on building a prison-to-school pipeline through strategic recruitment, retention, and advocacy efforts. Funding will support our mission to challenge societal stigmas and provide essential academic and co-curricular support, helping students achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. By bridging theoretical discourse with lived experiences, we aim to shift the narrative from incarceration to education, making a significant impact on the CSUN community and beyond. Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is a collegiate design series created to prepare students for future employment as engineers. Students act as an engineering company designing, fabricating, testing, and competing a prototype vehicle. This in-depth and hands-on educational program develops the knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving abilities of engineering students by enabling them to draw upon their years of education to answer a complex, real-world design and manufacturing challenge. We attract the most hardworking, motivated, and results-oriented engineering students produced by CSUN. This is all thanks to donations from people like you, that we are able to build our car every year.
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a transformative organization committed to empowering Black students, who have limited resources, with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in the engineering field. Our mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. Through strategic partnerships with leading companies, NSBE fosters an environment of professional growth by hosting impactful initiatives, including informational sessions, skill-building workshops, and mock interviews. Our hallmark events, two annual conventions, provide unparalleled opportunities for our members to access financial and academic support, secure internships, and even land full-time positions with top organizations. Your support and contributions enable NSBE to expand its reach, empowering more Black engineering students on campus and beyond to break barriers, realize their potential, and shape a more inclusive future in STEM. Leaders in Engineering and Computer Science (LECS) is a student leader council at CSUN that recognizes the necessity to develop a unified and comprehensive representation of students and organizations in the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). Our purpose is providing professional advancement for students of Engineering and Computer Science, by providing programs that promote the CECS as a whole. We focus on the improvement of service to, and advancement of, the students and student organizations of Engineering and Computer Science. LECS is a liaison between the students and the organizations in the administrations of the College of Engineering and Computer Science and Associated Students.

Through the help of a strong social network, diverse interdisciplinary membership, and industry leading alumni support, our members are empowered to achieve greatness through all facets of their lives. Funding would support the variety of professional development events and workshops we host throughout the year for students.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a chapter of women engineers at CSUN that knows a woman is more than a diversity quota: she is a necessary and viable asset in all science, technology, engineering, and math-driven fields. CSUN SWE strives to empower women to achieve their goals along their respective career paths and be the driving force that establishes these careers as highly desirable for women. SWE recognizes the achievements of women within these traditionally male dominated fields and challenge negative perceptions against girls and women in STEM fields
Alpha Sigma Theta is a sorority that unites Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing siblings and sisters through a shared dedication to Deaf culture and the Deaf community. As the only sorority at CSUN to use American Sign Language (ASL) as our primary language, we ensure equal access to communication and foster a sense of inclusion for all members. Our mission is to promote awareness of Deaf culture by engaging with the campus community and supporting Deaf organizations both locally and beyond. We are committed to developing strong leaders while making a meaningful impact through outreach and service. Funding would help us provide materials, workshops, interpreting services, and resources to expand member engagement and broaden our contributions to the community.
Sigma Omega Nu Latina Interest Sorority, Inc. was established at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo by eight young women as a way to unite and involve its members in a bond of sisterhood through cultural, academic and social means. The purpose of this sorority shall be to strive for sisterhood, scholastic excellence, self-improvement, and Latina awareness and provide community service on the University Campus of every corresponding Chapter, as well as in the community. With donor funds, Sigma Omega Nu can provide scholarships, leadership programs, and cultural events celebrating Latinx heritage while fostering a strong network of empowered women dedicated to sisterhood, cultura, and academics.
United Sorority and Fraternity Council is made up of 12 multicultural Greek organizations. The purpose of the USFC is to assist culturally diverse sororities and fraternities in the achievement of their noble purposes and to provide a forum for the regulation of organization interactions. USFC acts as a liaison between our member organizations and the university administration by establishing a communicative network for all culturally diverse sororities and fraternities to promote unity amongst the organizations and the university community. With donor funds we will be able to support the expansion of all the organizations in our council.
Layer8 Computer Security - Layer 8's mission for the past 14 years has been to cultivate a community of students passionate about cybersecurity by providing hands-on learning experiences, insightful industry lectures, and engaging Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions. We strive to empower our members with the practical skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the cybersecurity field, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
CSUN Entrepreneurs Club - At the Entrepreneurs Club, our mission is to foster a community of future entrepreneurs and business leaders at CSUN. Through bringing in industry-leading speakers, and collaborating with accelerators in the LA area, we hope to make CSUN an up-and-coming hub of entrepreneurship. To ensure the opportunities at our club are accessible to as many students as possible, funding would support marketing materials such as tabling supplies and posters as well as food for our meetings.
Nazarian Business and Economic Review (NBER) is CSUN’s premier undergraduate, peer-reviewed journal, dedicated to fostering academic research, professional development, and financial literacy among students. With donor support, we can publish high-quality student research, host industry guest speakers, and offer hands-on workshops covering critical financial skills such as budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management—skills rarely taught in conventional coursework. These efforts are vital to CSUN students, equipping them with practical tools to make informed financial decisions and thrive in both personal and professional settings. By supporting NBER, donors contribute to a program that bridges the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application, preparing students to become confident leaders in the ever-evolving business and economic landscapes. Ballet Folklórico Aztlán de CSUN (BFA) is a folklorico group on campus that teaches dancers of all levels from CSUN and the community. We are proud of the work we do on campus and in the community as well as in our mission to preserve the richness of Mexican/Chicana/o culture. Since our re-chartering in 1997, BFA has been recognized as one of the most active and popular organizations on the CSUN campus and over the years have been honored with several awards. Your funding would support Folklor de Mexico which is an annual music and dance concert that showcases dances from different regions in Mexico with guest folklorico and musical groups. Your funding allows our members to highlight their hard work to friends and family while simultaneously providing a culturally stimulating show for the community.
M.E.Ch.A de CSUN is a historical organization that emerged during the height of the civil rights movement. We seek to build unity and empowerment through community and political action. Our goal is to educate and create political consciousness, promote higher education, and cultural awareness. We generously ask donors to consider donating to our organization so we can continue to pour into our community through conferences, events, workshops, meetings, retreats etc.
Delta Sigma Pi is a co-ed professional business fraternity that fosters the study of business while upholding our core values of professionalism, scholarship, brotherhood, and community service. We provide our brothers with opportunities for career development through professional workshops, conferences, networking events, and leadership opportunities. Our fraternity also builds lifelong connections through social and brotherhood events while making a meaningful impact through volunteer work and community service projects. Funding would support these initiatives by helping us host professional events, give back to the community, and strengthen our brotherhood through enriching experiences.
The Alliance of Women in Entertainment is a club that builds a community of women, trans, and non-binary people within the entertainment world to support and uplift each other. We create a base for like-minded people to network and build lasting friendships. One of the main things we do is a short film each year with an all women, trans, and non-binary crew so we can give the opportunity to give experience to those trying to make their way into filmmaking which many struggle to get. With funding, it would help support us to make our short films along with help fund our meetings such as having discussions, screenings, networking events, and guest speakers.
The Environmental and Occupational Health Student Association is making a strong comeback and working hard to rebuild its presence at CSUN. We are dedicated to providing students with participation sashes, club shirts, merch, and career-enhancing opportunities like LinkedIn workshops, professional headshots, and industry tours. With additional funding, we can also support trips to conferences and host a memorable annual banquet. These resources are crucial for shaping the next generation of EOH professionals. Donor support will help us grow and empower students with the tools they need to thrive in their careers.
CSUN VEX Robotics Club is a student-run organization at California State University, Northridge, focused on building and programming robots for the VEX Robotics competition. The club provides a collaborative environment where students of all skill levels can gain hands-on experience in robotics, engineering, and teamwork. Members design and construct robots to compete in local, regional, and national VEX Robotics events, showcasing their technical and problem-solving skills. The club also fosters learning through workshops, mentorship, and community outreach, helping to develop the next generation of engineers and innovators. However, to continue participating in competitions and acquiring necessary parts, the club is in need of funding to support these efforts.
