This scholarship for both undergraduate and graduate students is awarded to any major in the College of Science and Mathematics, including those within the College’s five departments: Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Physics and Astronomy.
Key scholarship criteria include academic excellence and involvement in research with faculty. In the College of Science and Mathematics, we recognize that being directly involved in research with faculty mentorship is one of the most impactful ways of advancing student success at CSUN. Those impacts follow students into their postgraduate careers, and set the foundation for lifelong learning. Scholarships to support equitable student research involvement are critical to providing these potentially life-changing opportunities to highly motivated and qualified students independent of their financial circumstances. Donations to this scholarship directly supports student achievement and can have an enormous and immediate impact.
