Jewish Collection Digitization Fund

CSUN's Jewish Federation Community Relations Committee's (CRC) archives include collections from post-World War II to the early 21st century, representing one of Los Angeles’ most dramatic periods of growth. As one of the most highly consulted archives used at the University Library, it is sought out by researchers, national and international visiting scholars and CSUN faculty and students.

Learning from the past enables us to build a better future. Your gift allows the University Library to continue its important work of processing and digitizing large parts of the Jewish Federation CRC collection, making it globally accessible and ensuring we learn from the past.

The CRC was committed to combatting prejudice and educating the public through its collection, which focuses on issues including refugee communities in Los Angeles, fair treatment of immigrants, civil rights, housing discrimination, fair employment practices, race relations, stereotyping in the motion picture industry and more.
