Elementary Education
There is a lot going on in CSUN's Elementary Education Department! With our social justice focus, we are bringing great projects to all kinds of elementary classrooms, both here and abroad.
Your support can help our department fund projects like:
- Service-Learning Trips: Help send our students on a service-learning trip to Cusco, Peru in June 2024. Donate and help provide a $400 scholarship to a deserving student as they teach elementary students in Cusco and The Sacred Valley.
- School Partnership Participation Grants: $500 can help support Mentor Teacher and schoolwide participation in an Innovative Observation/Participation (O/P) Partnership Pilot.
- Lesson Plan Podcasts: Your support can help build elementary Lesson Plan Podcasts to be used by all adjunct faculty and University Supervisors.
- Social Justice Field Support: Donations like yours can help to purchase The Young Activist’s Social Justice Dictionary for all student teachers.
