CSUN Beta Alpha Psi is a chapter of an international honors society for Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Data Analytics.
Over the past semester, our membership has doubled from just over 60 members to over 130 active members, reflecting an increased interest and commitment from students to join our esteemed organization. For our Candidate Integration Day (CID), we have welcomed more than 60 new members. The attendance at our biweekly technical meetings has nearly doubled, showing the growing enthusiasm for educational and professional development opportunities.
Donations from alumni and supporters have enabled us to expand our impact beyond campus through providing more community service initiatives. We have partnered with CSU Fullerton and CSU Long Beach for a beach clean-up event, allowing us to not only collaborate with other chapters but also make a bigger impact on the community as a collective. As an honor society dedicated to excellence, we have enhanced academic support by offering additional tutoring options for all upper-division accounting classes, providing valuable resources to our members. This semester we are taking that a step further, also offering to tutor for Information Systems and Finance majors as well.
As we look to further expand, alumni contributions have not only allowed us to grow, but to thrive. Your donation will go straight back to the student body and community. Whether in the form of a professional development workshop, tutoring session, or community outreach/community service event, it will go a long way and we would be forever grateful!
